Milton Rotary Club Moves, Strikes Up
New Relationship with Community Living

(Milton, Ont.: 2 April 2012) – The Rotary Club of Milton permanently moves into a new meeting space today, simultaneously striking up a new positive relationship with Community Living North Halton (CLNH).

Effective immediately, Milton Rotarians will begin meeting at CLNH's board room at 917 Nipissing Rd. at the Thompson and Nipissing Rds. intersection. Meetings will continue to start at 6:30 PM weekly on Mondays.

The new partnership will allow the Rotary club to direct some of its membership fees to a charitable cause – CLNH – funds that it would be spending on a meeting space regardless. Rotarians will also be purchasing dinner from CLNH, generating additional revenue for the charity.

“We are delighted to partner with Community Living on this new arrangement,” said Rod McLachlan, Rotary Club of Milton public relations coordinator. “Milton Rotary Club has been a long-time supporter of CLNH.”

“We would like to thank Milton Best Western and Troy's Diner for their hospitality in hosting our club for the last several years.”

The new location at Nipissing and Thompson Rds. is also more visible and central in a town that is expanding southward. Any prospective Rotary members are always welcome to attend a meeting.
